Some pics I took today of a rather tasty Diablo

Hi Ed,
The three close up ones are my favourites, particularly the mirror. Just my opinion but I think you should spend a little more time cleaning these up: the tar/dirt spots and chewing gum on the road could be removed pretty easily with the healing brush.
Im not sure about the locations either, mainly because the chain fencing/bushes/double yellow lines makes the background seem too busy. In the bottom one the car almost looks crammed in the frame. You mentioned that it was quite a quick job and taken in that context these arent bad at all.
Cheers.
Matt

Ta for the comments Matt - you're right, it was a very rushed job, hence the average locations and non-ideal scenery. Also amazing how quickly the car gets surrounded by on-lookers, which makes it even harder to get a clean shot!
My plan is to scout around the local area for decent locations so that I'm better prepared next time...
I'm also limiting the amount of correcting I do in PS at the mo as my laptop runs away crying whenever I mention big TIFF files, but I may have another go at this when I get a faster PC

Exactly the problem I'm always having when trying to shoot GI_jnr's cars. Within seconds there are faces pressed up against the window, meaning you can't get the shots.
We've got a 4:00am start lined up in a couple of weeks, hopefully that will reduce the amount of people hanging around!

Have you considered telling them to piss off? Surely only a nob would get in the way if you are obviously doing a photoshoot?
To be honest it's only happened twice - once at a wedding fair where the people are potential customers, so best left alone - and once on the Prom at weston-super-mare seafront where I was stood a fair distance away trying to get both cars in.
Given the level of intelligence of the average holdaymaker who visits weston, your nob comment sounds about right!
