Worst 'I've got a big exhaust' thread ever.

Maybe his exhaust is not big; it could be a very large sausage...

To get revenge on someone, hammer frozen sausages into their lawn. Then they'll defrost and that person will have the most odd sight they'll ever see with floppy sausages somehow stuck in the lawn. Simples

That refers to an entirely separate attribute...

OP - there was a member asking how best to gain revenge on a troublesome neighbour.

I relayed an example I'm not particularly proud of back in my early adulthood, where the pain in the arse used to treat his lawn as though it were his first born.

One summer night, I placed three dozen frozen sausages vertically in his lawn. We live in a rural seaside area.

Within a couple of days, his lawn had been fked by badgers, foxes, seagulls and hedgehogs. It looked a bit like the images of the Somme after heavy artillery bombardment.

Somehow it gained traction on here as a meme...

It got so 'big' on PH a few years ago that another poster tried to recreate the event (with his own lawn I think) but sadly that time nothing happened.

It's a great story and worthy of it's status in PS lore along with the Welsh spelling for Ambulance and it's effect on a cynical poster.

There's another 2 famous ones that aren't even allowed to be mentioned *cough* Lotus Elise and *cough* Nazi Caves.

Nazi Caves? Buried Spitfires?

Well there's some new credence to that story just come up on the BBC website today!

Nope, it's not worth going any further. It's the ultimate PH anti-climax.

It's a great interesting story that spanned months, updates were few and far between but usually forum gold, it was funny, it was interesting, it was even thought provoking at. There were lots of picture to back-up the story, it was all completely true and we learned it all in real time. It was honestly the best thing I've ever read on a forum. Sound good doesn't it? Well don't go looking for it the problem is - it just ended without warning or conclusion - posters were left in limbo, desperate for updates, some were even concerned for the OPs welfare.

It was ruin your whole day, and the next one - maybe a week later you'll forget about, then it'll come back into your head late and night and you'll find yourself on your smart phone at 4am desperately searching the web for other sources of info about it - but there aren't any - it's a complete dead end.

It's few years ago now, but it got so bad that when new posters found the thread, months, even years after it ended they'd post "great story, but what happened" etc and the thread would of course shoot back to the top of the forum - and like Obi Wan in Star Wars said we'd feel a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of posters suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced as they realised it wasn't an update, but a noob bumping it.

I know it got locked to stop it happening, it may have been deleted to save us all from it.

Rumour had it that the OP had been contacted by a TV production company to make a show about it and he'd been gagged until it was shown, or there may be a book - bud sadly it's been all too long now.

Sadly, it's the best PH story, but it doesn't have an ending. If you open the thread now your face will melt off like Nazis opening the ark of the covenant.

LOL. Read my link its nothing to do with them at all really. I too have read all the way through the "Secret tunnels" type threads, and many of the "Safe cracking" threads too, to see the frustrating lack of closure afforded to us, the readers!
