Amusing what3words place names?
Discussion
The discussion on the Mercedes thread in GG is getting a bit far from the original topic so perhaps a thread in here is best:

What3Words seems pretty cool, every single place on earth reduced to a 3 word locator in a specific 3 metre x 3 metre grid across the whole globe.
Three random(ish) words can be used to pinpoint any one of 57 trillion individual grid squares, with great uses in many places that don't have a postcode system such as ours
Here's their site explaining it:

What funny places can you find?

great for showing people exactly which entrance/exit/door/unnamed road to use for some random conference/event/other
and much quicker than lat/long
Yes, definitely.great for showing people exactly which entrance/exit/door/unnamed road to use for some random conference/event/other
and much quicker than lat/long
I've been considering how I can use this at work as well, though within some airports the different levels might make it more complex.
autonomous.driver.attachment - straight into the sea
drink.drive.daily - again, into the North Atlantic
dangerous.dodge.challenger - not in America
wipe.several.times - Nebraska
slightly.sticky.parts - next to Bell tower in China
never.drift.responsibly in western Russia
piston.heads.forum appears to have it's own pool in South Africa
broken.parts.daily - actually near a scrap yard in San Antonio - pleased with that one!

Look for "Lord Hereford's Nob".
It is a hill in mid Wales next to a hill "Hay Bluff".
When working in our police ops room I had a call from a woman who was out horse riding and found another riderless horse...
"Hello....I was out riding on Hay Bluff and found a riderless horse, with saddle."
My mate chuckled....."Lucky she hadn't crossed over to the other hill"
