I don't know why, but when I see the title of this thread I think:

"Thank U"

how bout getting off these antibiotics
how bout stopping eating when I'm full up
how bout them transparent dangling carrots
how bout that ever elusive kudo

thank you india
thank you terror
thank you disillusionment
thank you frailty
thank you consequence
thank you thank you silence

how bout me not blaming you for everything
how bout me enjoying the moment for once
how bout how good it feels to finally forgive you
how bout grieving it all one at a time

thank you india
thank you terror
thank you disillusionment
thank you frailty
thank you consequence
thank you thank you silence

the moment I let go of it was the moment
I got more than I could handle
the moment I jumped off of it
was the moment I touched down

how bout no longer being masochistic
how bout remembering your divinity
how bout unabashedly bawling your eyes out
how bout not equating death with stopping

thank you india
thank you providence
thank you disillusionment
thank you nothingness
thank you clarity
thank you thank you silence

I think it is just a case of straight through pipes from the T piece. Not sure if Paul is on PH, he'll be able to tell you more.

A guy called Paul owns the purple Chimaera. He pretty much uses it only for track days, so decided to go the whole hog. The front end has been designed to cool the engine (he has some serious mods under there too) and is Paul's own design with some added bits from the guy who made the mods (can't remember his name, but he advertises in the back of Sprint!).

The rear has a venturi (that works) and can extend back further for track use. In the gaps between the boot and wing there are some LED brakelights, and IIRC the Chimaera badge opens the boot, like the later cars.

Oi.... enough of that matey.......

Actually, the two Tuscans were 'out of area' TVRs that had popped down to Essex for the Meet.
One of the guys with the two Tuscs is the very clever bod responsible for the amazing fibre glass work on Paul's Chimaera........

They arrived unexpectedly and I asked the guys to take the Tuscans to the top of the drive to show, as they were obviously going to cause a fair bit of comment, for and against. .....and cause comment they certainly did....

For those of you who have never been to a Mid Essex Meet....you may gather from the pics we all meet up at a golf club with a very long drive down which we park the tivs on either side........

So.....at one count yesterday we had 72 TVRs 1 Ferrari, and at the top of the drive in 'star' spots were our guests from the Lotus Owners Club who bought along 6 Lotus and Simon and Richard who bought us a Tuscan TVRcc Challenge Race Car.
I asked Paul to park up top as his Chimaera has certainly been radically changed and when the others arrived....well...we seemed to have our own 'Modified Meet'.....

Still...you never quite know what's going to happen at a Mid Essex Meet........always a surprise in there somewhere.

It was a very busy afternoon, with Members joining us from Cambridge...thanks for the title thread Gill, good to meet you at last...and a posse from Mid Kent.

The Forresters coped as superbly as usual .........

Thanks Diane and Lorraine who did the raffle which raised £130.00 to go to Toby's favourite charity.
I will be sending the cheque to TMS today.

You will all be relieved to know that Wildfire made it to the Meet....after a veeery small detour eleswhere
It was a pleasure to meet you mate...hope it was worth the journey.

Didn't take many pictures myself....bit busy yesterday but I know Debs has some of the race car..I'll have a word...see if she can upload them.

Thanks to all who turned out to support yesterday...you're a great bunch....
