I have read in the forums that updated disks for PCM1 are no longer available as the system is no longer supported by Porsche. They (Porsche dealers) have not specifically said this to me but I have been chasing updates for 6 months now with little joy. My C4S is 02MY and the only offer from Porsche dealers is that Porsche UK can supply a set of 10 disks (presumably to cover Europe) at a cost of £400+. The seperate UK disk is not an option and they did not specify the date of the disks.
Has anyone any suggestions of a different source, as I think the disks were made by Navteq. They also have been less than helpful to date when contacted directly by email, only saying that: "NAVTEQ is the database supplier for many different navigation systems on the market. However, at this moment we do not handle the distribution of products for Porsche."
