Well, seems as the day out never got of the ground, I ended up taking the missus to York. Cost me alot more money in the long run, too many damn shops. Lovely day for it though.

Mind you, until I passed the police car on the M62 doing about 110. Think his view was hampered by traffic in lane one and two, and couldnt stamp on the brakes with a bike tucked in behind me. He didnt chase and stop me, but he was pointing some sort of device out of the window, hope it was only laser, as he would have had to have pulled me with one of them... I think.

Adamski took the new M3 out for the first time, he's hoping the the gentlemen in the white car and black suits didn't have a camera.

Actually Rich, I've said to him that he'd have to be nicked at the time, is this right, can they send a NIP from something observed from a stationary car?

PS: He also said it was a shame they were working, he could've had some fun with them in that Subaru!

Had a glorious 100 mile run up and down Wensleydale and Swaledale. (I have another 200 to do before next Monday to finish the running in so I had a good excuse ).

Saw no Tivs or other exotica at all, just a few MGB's and a gaggle of RX8's.

Went out and really bonded with the Jag for the first time today. Raced a bike from the far side of Denshaw to Huddersfield. Got massacred on every last straight, but eventually made it past him on a corner (OK, so he had a passenger on the back, but my car weighs as more than an oil platform) Nearly culled the odd lamb or two round a couple of hairpins in the process, but I think I've taught the electric gadgetry on the car exactly when I want it to kick in (i.e. when I'm dead )

Oh, and then I managed to make it back from Huddersfield to Derby in under 60 minutes for the first ever this evening.

Top, top day for driving.

It was a lovely day here in Scarborough and I was gutted not to have the Porsche to go out and enjoy the sun.

Hope everyone else had a good weekend.

Well sitting in someones living room for 8 hrs was really crap - Im looking outthe wndow now at more glorious weather and waiting for the phone call to go back to that same living room

All I can say is that Moto GP boxong and the BTCCC were quite good

Im not quite sure re speeding - Im pretty convinced that the 14 day rule applies and a notice asking who the driver was

Had a lovely run out in the Chim in the afternoon.
Too much traffic though.

Stopped to take a picture, and was joined by four Polish tourists who had never seen a TVR in the flesh before, but they knew what it was. Their english wasn't too good but it was better than my polish. I think the smiles and gestures meant they liked it.

Best moment when biker gave me a big thumbs up as he went past me pulling a fantastic wheelie - nice one.

Thanks Rich, and for Adam, he was giving it big licks at the time. Oh well, 14 days and counting.

Went for an early morning run yesterday.

Left at 6:30 and headed up to Masham on the A1, then worked my way south towards Harrogate, then turned off and headed towards Otley, and filled up in Pool.

Very light traffic, great fun.

I was in Great Ayton on Sunday morning! Staying over at a frends house. Had a nice drive back down to Leeds, then York, the back to Harrogate.
