Just had my Large Intercooler fitted on my M12 GTO 2.5. It dropped the Charge temp down from 41 to 31 and that was holding the car at 140mph for around a minute. Although through the gears it was 21.

There are no fans fitted to the cooler and it fits straight into the original casing. All you have to do is cut the 2 plates that are Pop Riverted to the sides of the casing down as these cover the new coolers core.

Other than that it is a straight fit.

The car now feels more responsive than before

Will let you know some sizes and get some pictures up here soon.

This is a Pro Alloy one. www.proalloy.co.uk

They are also making alloy power steering tanks so that you do not have the Vauxhall/Ford Plastic Tank on display.

May get him to do me a Header Tank Also.

Interesting, looks like quite an after market is developing. How much did it cost?

Hi Paul it is a resonable £495 and they can fit them while you wait if you prefer not to do it yourself (Not you Paul as you have one)Takes around 1.5hr

original temp was actually 43.4 c just Spoke to Wayne at Pro Alloy. On the new cooler thay have reshaped the inlet and outlet pipes to give more flow and as the pipes enter the tank they are now 76m which gives you more torque and better throttle response

I know what your up to Barry!! Hope you got your screen grab done before I posted this!!

Your antics make it really hard for me to read all the latest posts.

Now I have to trawl through your meaningless drivvle!!

Well done though! Is the trick not to have posted all the threads too!! Please don't try that!

Do you happen to have the dimensions on the core of that intercooler? It looks to be a tube & fin design, is that correct?

Hi Stu - time to get me out in that noble

p.s - did i tell you one of the american Dyno Dynamics dealers has tuned an M12 to 450 BHP at the wheels !!

it was very very very fast and only required a softer rubber compound to get the power to the road !!!

Hello Gadget

Sounds good! Can you find out what exactly you have done?

And where is the rolling road dyno we can pull it out of your sales van and do it at the side of the main road near my Mums house

basically the engine was built using m400 pistons and rods

the t25 turbo's were replaced with t28's

the MBE ecu was remapped on a dyno dynamics rolling road

over 450 bhp at the wheels was produced !!!!!!!!!!

the owner was amazed with it - its been very very sucessful on the track

p.s - I get my dyno on monday
