Care by Volvo - Volvo XC40 @ £629/month all in

What do people think of the new 'Care by Volvo' deal?

For the new XC40 Momentum, 23 months @ £629 per month plus 1 month up front. £15,096 for 2 years.

15,000 miles a year and includes road tax, insurance, servicing, tyres, connected services, warranty, etc..

Up front it sounds a lot, but when you add it all up and take into account the lack of depreciation it's probably on the money.

Only for those living inside the M25 at the moment.

Seems just the same as long term car hire you could get from Enterprise etc?

It’s £28k new and Tiguan etc leases are about £7k over the same term, so even if your insurance is £2k/yr I can’t see how that represents VFM, it probably won’t even be serviced during that contract

So by branding it a subscription instead of a lease, it's ok for them to charge significantly more than a lease? Sounds like the marketing department are taking the mick out of customers.
