As title suggests really. How far ahead of a fixed mortgage deal expiry does one start the ball rolling on a remortgage (next march is when our two yr fix comes to an end). LTV may be improved, as we've done a fair bit to the house in past 18 months which should give a bit of an uplift in value, although how much, I've no idea. We are thinking of a two year fix due to the possibility of wanting to move up the ladder in a couple of years, although the looming spectre of Brexit is a slight concern..
Too early to make enquiries?

Three months before the expiry date, most remortgage offers last 90 days.....

I can recommend my plan......use Sarnie to arrange your mortgage and then wait for him to remind you to remortgage.

Indeed I think Sarnie did arrange the original mortgage so I'll sit back and await instructions at the appropriate time...
