Subwoofer isolation pad
Discussion
I live in a detached house but find that my subwoofer shakes the upstairs and actually the whole house quite badly. Basically the Mrs isn't happy. She wants rid of it but I've been looking into the Auralex isolation pads as a cure and wondered if anyone had any reviews.
It's fairly expensive for what seems like some foam but happy to buy if it means I can keep my sub.
Thanks

Have you moved the sub to a different position ? or tried using some cushions to isolate it from the room. This may help you decide whether the problem is caused by standing waves in the room or whether the sub could be mechanically coupling to the floor / walls and setting vibrations that way.
Cushions should teall you whether or not an isolation pad will fix the issue or not. Clearly if the sub cas a downward firing driver and/or port then don't impede them by covering them with cushions.
