Hi,
wondering if anyone has a recommendation here based on real world usage.

This is actually for a client who are properly paperless and want to scan in all their mail and any paper that hits the office. Around 30 users, they have an on-site server and also use 365 and Dropbox a little. They have excellent connectivity to internet so cloud based is an option.

It might be that Dropbox or OneDrive for Business etc. would do the job for storage but we're looking for something quite slick from searching and scanning point of view. I expect OCR won't really work for a lot of the scanning so it needs some way of tagging the letter (or whatever) to a client account.

Any suggestions welcomed.

The process is now run by robots as opposed to OCR

Try looking at the solution offered by Kofax/ Opentext

Expensive but i'm sure there are 3rd party alternatives

Hi guys

I am sales manager for a company that supplies around 4 or 5 document management systems (amongst other things). Would be happy to talk to you about your clients' requirements in a bit more depth and give you an idea of what would produce the best and most cost effective solution for them.

Are you looking to add margin yourselves?

Do you mean geographically? We've just opened an office in Grantham if you do...

Our new website is launching at the end of this month and the current one is a little unloved, so please don't draw any conclusions based on that!

For a DMS, geographic location shouldn't be too much of a concern as support is generally administered remotely anyway and any meetings we would travel to you including implementation and training.

You might want to download the Gartner report to give you some suggestions
