Do we have a 'clothes and shoes' section on here?? If so then feel free to move this thread to somewhere else...,
Otherwise - I seem to wear my shoes out at the heels in record time, while the rest of the shoe is fine. Does anyone else have this problem, and what could be done? Getting fed up of buying new shoes because the rubber bit has gone!
Obvious answer is some of these but my feet would get wet!

I hate those things with a passion! It's a joke in the motor trade that salesmen will go through a pair of leather shoes every few months because of the sheer amount of miles of walking they do round the forecourt and showroom every day. The ever popular 'Car sales memes' page on Facebook is regularly rammed with pictures of salesmens shoes absolutely falling to bits and taped or stapled back together.
Some of the 'old boys' in the trade who have been at it 35 years or whatever, often have those daft metal sole protector things on and you can hear them coming a mile off... they have the loud 'clip clop' like horses hooves on tarmac!
