Adjustable platform....

My new "R" spec car is fitted with the adjustable suspension and Bilstein dampers set to the standard factory settings, i.e. the springs appear wound up to the max. I suspect the car is currently setup more for the track and is fine on smooth roads, but being the in UK these are few and far between. So, how much difference does backing off the adjusters make? Can a more compliant ride be achieved, say something more akin to the "S" pack?

At some point I'll get the the car flat floored but for now I not intending to play with it too much...

The adjustable platforms only adjust ride height.

"Backing off" the platforms would give a lower ride height. As the spring rate remains the same, the ride will not be affected, but you are more likely to bash the sump....

As said, the platform height will alter the ride height and not the ride quality. Ride height will impact the balance of the car. Best to research some set-up (there are plenty online), and ideally set it up on a flat floor and corner weight if you can.
