That CSR for sale on PH

I am interested in the CSR listed on PH cars for sale:

However I seem to remember that same car for sale not so long ago but with an address abroad?

I can't google or search the reg as it has been removed.

I will contact the seller shortly, but I was just wondering if anyone knows the car?

Or any other CSR's for sale.

not sure if this helps but didnt think that road cars normally had the bonnet cut outs !! does it mean this is an ex race car ??

I was interested in that car too. I contacted the seller and from memory he runs a company in Eastern Europe selling car accessories.

At the time (mid Summer) he wanted £35k.

He told me he purchased the car from Caterham UK 3 years ago, and then paid 17,000 euros to get a company in Austria (Caterham Austria?) to overhaul the engine.

Quite why this level of spend was needed was unclear. I decided to put the money to a new house and so I didn't follow up to find out the reason.

I thought it looked a very nice car and the pricing now seems more realistic

I have a feeling this may be the CSR (originally owned in Kent) that Caterham rebuilt after a major accident several years ago - poss Cat D? This might help explain the strangely low price? Worth investigating...
