Porsche 911 Carrera 4S (2013)
Discussion
Picked this up on Friday.
It's a 2013 Carrera 4S in Guards Red.
The drive home put a massive smile on my face. For an everyday all-in-one car I think it's going to be pretty hard to beat.
When looking for one, I had a list of 'Must-have' options and a few 'Nice-to-haves'. This car had all of them and then some.
Full list is:
Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK Gearbox)
Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) incl. PASM sports chassis (20 mm lower)
BOSE® Surround Sound System
Sports exhaust system
Sport Chrono Package
SportDesign bodkykit package
Electric slide/tilt sunroof
Leather interior package
Sports seats plus electrical 4 ways
Automatically dimming interior and exterior mirrors with integrated rain sensor
Porsche Communication Management (PCM) including navigation module with universal audio interface
White instrument dials
Leather centre console trim
Privacy glass (rear side windows and rear window)
Wheel spacers 5mm
Porsche crest embossed on head restraints
Guards Red seat belts
Lid of storage bin with logo
Heated seats
20-inch Carrera S wheel
Rear wiper
Wheel Centres
Cruise control
Tyre Pressure monitoring system (TPM)
Top tinted windscreen
ParkAssist (front and rear)
Power steering Plus
Telephone module
Electric folding exterior mirrors
Floor mats
SportDesign steering wheel
Haven't taken any decent photo's yet, but here's a couple from when I got it home:

Haven't really updated this for a while, but got some good photographs from a great day at Brand Hatch GP in September.

Also had a play with Racerender and made a video with graphics overlay:

The next job on the list is sorting out the brakes which I pretty much ruined.

I guess the brakes are up to the job but you finished them off ?
Lovely car, quite fancy a 991.1 C4S.....did a couple of trackdays in a 997.1 turbo and didn't notice the 4wd at all. The main issue was it tended to want to go straight when on the power, but then that's what a GT3 is for.

Yeah, age old problem of drilled discs and cracks which finally reach the edges of the discs. I’ve also got vibration from the rear, but I think that’s just pad deposit which I’m hoping I can clean off.
The brakes are up to the job, with the proviso that you need better pads if you intend to push hard.
