I am looking at getting an MMC card for my mobile phone (Nokia 6230) with 512Mb will allow me to be pretty much covered on the MP3 front for commute to work.

Does anyone know if i can use an SD memory card in the Nokia? I have looked on the website and it was unclear. just wondering if anyone has already done this.

would allow me to be covered memory wise for digital camera as well that way. rather than doubling up card for this unit one for that etc etc.

cheers,

AFAIK it's MMC only. There's a forum here discussing the 6230. That'll have a definitive answer.

Beware, that due to some stupid glitch, having a card in the phone, means that the recurring alarm doesn't work

i think the one that is supplied is good for showing you what you can don but not much else.

IMHO the problem if you go too big is it takes ages to save pictures on the 6230..

I have a 128mb MMC card that's lying around at home. I can't use it because I need to use the recurring alarm.

If 128 is big enough, you're welcome to it, for a pittance.
