Panasonic Viera query
Discussion
Hi - wonder if anyone can help.
I have a Panasonic Viera TV and when I switch it on at the TV, it says
'No DVB service found. Please check aerial or local DVB service availability. Press OK to start Auto Setup.'
I then press the 'input AV' button on the TV's remote control and I get the TV screen up and working. I then switch to the TiVo remote control to access the TV stations. I have Cable TV and don't have an aerial.
This morning, the remote seems to be dead. I changed the batteries and still no response. ( No hint of a red light flashing when I press it ).
Is there a way to get the TV screen to come on via a manual button? I'm guessing I need to replace the TV remote - how often do remotes stop working?

Might be worth fiddling around in the menus to set the auto channel power on to be AV.
I don't need the TV remote for any of my Panasonic tellies - turn on Sky/Firestick/whatever, and the telly auto powers on and switches to that input.
It needs the device sending the signal to send it over hdmi but if you can setup that way you'll avoid the need for a telly remote in the situation you describe.

I'd be going here for the instruction manual... http://www.panasonic.eu/downloads/en_GB/popup.html
