I know this has been discussed before but just to emphasise the point about making sure you use genuine and right spec fuel injection hose here are some pictures of hose I've had to replace after only 2 years on the car. The hose wasn't even in the hot under-bonnet area - it was the fuel pump to fuel filter length. How anyone can sell this stuff passing off as ethanol resistant pressure hose is beyond me.

What markings were on the hose? I have just ordered some goodyear r9 but I'm never confident that it's ok.

You only buy hose marked with a known, quality, manufacturer.
We use Gates Barricade.

Ended up with Goodyear for the 12mm and Continental for the 8mm.

Seeing as some traders are being caught out by this as well I suspect you need to buy it from a well established supplier as well.
