My PC desk has a drawer under the main desktop area, which makes it difficult to attach a gaming wheel since the ones I've borrowed to try out so far (a couple of Logitech ones) seem to want to clamp on from underneath. This means pulling the drawer out a bit as a minimum (not ideal as that means whacking one's hands on the drawer while turning the wheel) or removing it altogether.

Is there such a thing as a gaming wheel which can mount conveniently onto a desk which has a drawer underneath?

If it's not a lot of hassle just remove the drawer, it doesn't sound like you want the wheel fixed permanently. I've never seen a big clamp like that on a wheel. It would probably wreck the drawer anyway as the wheels need to be firmly fixed to get the best from them. It would have to be some kind of DIY job.

I do use the drawer though, that's where my headset, game pad and a few other things live. You're right in that I don't want the wheel there permanently but it needs to be convenient enough to set up and put away or I'll end up not using it.

Thanks, might swing in to the local store and have a look.

Something like that might work but again it needs to be easy enough to set up and stash away and also be compact enough not to take up heaps of space when stowed away. Also, are those things any good, sturdy enough etc.?

I didn't mean permanently remove the drawer just when you are using it. You're right though if it's a faff to set up it's less appealing and sometimes you just won't bother. I use mine far more now it's permanently set up in the mancave than before when I had a corner of the living room and everything had to be put away all the time.

You need to use some man maths, and get a mancave built in the garden lol smile

No idea tbh! I have a gamepad because I need the space.
