Ouch.

Got a private, 11 plate Twinair Lounge, 1 owner FSH 25k miles for the wife 6 months ago, I paid £4200 for it, I could sell it for that now.

Unfortunately some people (particularly young women) just get too carried away with the excitement of a cute car, with no actual thought of the whole package.

am wondering if she has any rights to bail out of deal that anyone can think of?

Depending on the exact spec it does look overpriced. 4k looks like it would buy something with half the mileage and possibily a year newer frown
It's probably a 1.2 Pop with no A/C and in a crap colour.

I have first hand experience of buying a 500 for a woman, see above post, she kept sending me links to dross and overpriced cars, all she saw was "Fiat 500", in the end it came good, it took a while but I felt bad and almost negative when I kept on saying "nope, that ones terrible".

Only thing I can think of is to use the car and then VT it when 50% of the total amount payable has been settled - Still on the hook for £1k of finance payments and 50% of interest though

Nope, it'll just have to be chalked up to experience.

Well given she put in 3 quarters upfront, she would have been well over that stage the day she first drove it home.
