Cayman R MOT - does it need to be OPC

Hi Guys,

As topic says, do I really need to via OPC to get my MOT done on my Cayman R? I'm about 40 minutes away from my dealer and as I bought second hand my service and MOT are out of sync.

Will not having that OPC MOT stamp make a difference in resale (Not that I necessarily intend to sell) or is it only service stamps that make the difference?

Most OPC probably don't have their own MOT testing bay anyway and it would be done locally
