Changing the pic on your profile

This is driving me insane! Not sure if it's me being incompetent or this computer... how'd I change the existing pic in my profile? I've tried hitting 'browse' and putting a different link in to be uploaded, but it won't work!

Grrrr! Help? Anyone?

Can't you just point it to a file on your hard drive?

Click your username to get your topics etc up, then click update my profile and then browse to a file in my pictures or wherever your picture is.

That's what I'm doing... it's kinda going thru ok, but when I go back to check, it's not updated it correctly!!

Give it a minute or 2. Sometimes it takes a while I think.

I had a similar thing, but forgot to hit the update button

When I returned to PH it had changed it.....but then I am a computer numpty.

Ah, there is hope then. Well, seeing as I also ran it thru in frustration approx 20 times, it's more than likely worked... fingers crossed!

Um, well, little bit More of a physical profile of a silverback really. It was a nickname the lads on shift came up with.....can't see why myself.

The picture will have been replaced but becuase we give it the same name your browser thinks that it doesn't need to download it again.

Hit shift+refresh and you'll see it.
