So,

For work as well as pleasure I take a number of trips a year.
I always take 2 or 3 watches, depending on what I'm planning to do (casual, dress, diving/sports,...).

I used to try and put them in the lining, or in a plastic bag in the toiletries, but I was looking for a more elegant way.

So I went and ordered this:

It costs a fiver over here, slow delivery though:

Anyway, arrived today and I must say it looks perfect for the task, put in two of my somewhat larger pieces, a 42mm SXK and the 45mm Airboss:

I can get three in my Breitling service case (rectangular one, not square). Ditto with a Lufthansa Rimowa amenity kit.

The other option is one of the smaller pelican cases.

Good travel case, and as GCH says, airline amenity bags work well also once you've used the toothbrush and chucked out the silly face moisturiser.

But best of all is a proper watch travel case. Well, why not?. Costs a bit more, but is far less likely to be thrown in the bin by the missus when she's emptying all the dirty clothes into the washing machine.

Above pic is not meant to be blatant advertising, so I'll refrain from saying that some companies actually provide a nice leather travel box instead of putting your new purchase in a wooden box[url]

I don't think a bit of mesh is enough protection. Better off with a proper watch case that has more protection between the two watches.

Thought about it, they never touch. You can still flip them if you're really not sure.
