Apart from the Ultima seats and runners.
What other options are out there. ?
I quite like the tillett style but not sure what’s going to fit.
I’m 5’10” if this makes a big difference and getting older so shrinking lol.
Cheers Joe

B4's fit but at 5'10 your knees may hit the underside of the dash depending on the length of your legs. They are not ideal from a safety perspective if you have a short torso as the shoulder straps may go at an upward angle from your shoulders back to where they are mounted which is a no go if you want to survive a crash. If you are able to fit your legs under the dash while having a long enough torso you will need to wrap the belts around the roll bar and not use eye bolts to get the shoulder belts at a 0 - 20deg downward angle.

I am using the B7's and they fit in the cockpit easily, are extremely comfortable for me at just under 6'2, 91kg and all the proper harness belt angles are achievable. With my proportions a person 6'4 could fit with these seats as long as they are not wearing a helmet, I think I'd be at the safety limit in a roll over accident now with a helmet on.

Your arse is 17mm from the floor pan with the sliders and about 7mm without them.

Edit: Forgot to mention this is with a lowered floor pan.

I have already posted this on one of the forums, I think it was the Ultima page on Facebook but here goes.
I found the Ultima factory seats very uncomfortable and had to put a small cushion in the bottom.
I have since sold my GTR and bought a Radical RXC which has Corbaeu Seats. These are the most comfortable seats I have ever had in a car. I have spoken to Corbeau and they can supply there seats from memory for about £400. You just need to confirm the rake. They will embroider any finish you want.

Thanks guys, I think I will get a seat that's not covered as you have to stand on it to get in and out the car. Well I seem to do lol.

I'm going to ask a mate to take one of his tillett seats out of his Fisher fury and see if it will fit the Ultima.
That will make the choice a little easier.

Thanks Joe

I carry a seat pad to stand on and then put it behind the seat as I slide down.

I am a fat, old git and never find the need to stand on the seat.

It's all down to technique!!!

I dont have issue either but I have can am that has a handy bit of cage for a handrail and the hardtop which gives you a lot more access to get in/out

Left Hand on roll bar, right hand on side pod by fuel filler.
Left leg in just in front of seat.
Push down with both hands bracing your back against bulkhead.
Lift right leg in.
Slide in and down
Simples!

Getting out is the reverse.

Having a removable steering wheel helps.

Exactly my technique. However, once one has mastered the technique for entering the driver’s side, it is a whole new board game to enter and exit the passenger side!

I agree with the “getting in” technique, but the “getting out” is more complicated than it need be!
