Rocker covers and new dizzy cap sprayed body colour, new red HT leads, lightly polished plenum with new stainless bolts, tidied up the wiring and plumbing.

I'd like to replace the crappy throttle cable bracket.

Does anyone know where I might get a nice alloy or stainless one? Alternatively, does anyone have an old one I could either clean up or use a pattern?

That's a TVR special, not a Ford piece, so either wire brush and paint/plate, or get a copy one made.

In case you didn't know, you can get the throttle cable out by gently levering out the metal lockplate around the threaded bit,
and then can get spring off too (plastic insert inside the spring comes off when spring pushed back)

Thanks for explaining that. I'll keep my eyes open for something suitable to make a new one out of.

Good job!
I've got a red air inlet hose you can have if you want it, I brought it for my 280 fhc but decided to get a black one instead.
