Had my Tamora back on Saturday, so today was the first time in a long time that it was used for my drive to and from work.
I have my 'S6 00MPH' plates on, and tonight, I thought my luck had run out when a cop Focus followed me for 7 miles on the A48, through Westbury on Severn, the sports exhaust popping and banging away, despite my best efforts to try and make it as quiet as possible; I was just waiting for a flash (!!), but no, I did get a flash when I turned into Elton corner, plus a smile and a thumbs up from both copper's in the car!! Couldn't believe it! Maybe there is hope afterall!

Why does that always happen.

Mine waits until there's a jam sandwich behind me before blowing flames out the back.....

Not so angst now Steve , this was the third time the cops have had a good chance to pull me over, and they haven't, so perhaps I can now relax, I only worried so much because of what the P/H cops were saying on here!

Needed a replacement front plate in normal mode today, which as supplier said
'its just as well as DVLA have been taking an interest in anything illegally spaced since December'

A wonderful irony ... from the organisation that auctions registration marks for substantial sums - Streaky

DVLA and incorrect number plate spacings: well as far as I am aware the most recent legislation is that you are allowed 3 strikes and you're out ie. the 3rd time you get 'done' for incorrect spacing you will lose your plate !! This then goes back to the DVLA bank and then can be re-sold by them creating more revenue.
Obviously as a marketing ploy they will show the number plate in its best light but state its an offence to alter the spacing. Double standards ? !!
It stinks. Be aware.
