Hi, I am aware of https://issuu.com and have used their basic plans to upload a PDF of our product brochures to share with others.

My question is basically is there a better or more professional way to do this?

I have no major gripe in paying ~ $420 per year for their service to give us a better image but before I do I wanted to ask if anyone has experience in this area.

I am also keen to try the "print on demand" service, so if required you can pay for a single hard copy to be posted out. I have a specific historical book from my industry in the 1930's that I know a few people would probably pay to buy.

Thanks, J

Can't you just host it on your website, with a PDF viewer plugin if necessary?

How do they find your material, are you sending them there or are they searching the Issuu website? Reason I ask is that if you are sending them there then presumably they have the opportunity to look at what your competitors are doing too. In which case, as said, you need to put it on your own website.

I'm pretty sure it's a piracy thing. Issuu doesn't serve the publication as a PDF which makes it harder to download the entire publication as a single file.

So if you were publishing a magazine and wanted to protect it from being shared without permission, issuu is a good platform for that.
