Help................... adblue cap FUBAR

My lads got a 64 plate Audi A6 avant 190bhp with adblue

the cap on the adblue tank (in the fuel cap recess) is now refusing to undo

it click click clicking in both directions instead of undoing 1 way


ive read the tank is pressurised so cant jut rip it out, any ideas, hes got 1000 miles left before it stops running...

If he's got 1000 miles til it runs out, unless he's in the outback of Oz, can't he drive to a garage?

Just drive to a VW dealer and they will fill it up for £1.50 per litre. Give them the hassle of getting it off.

Went to Audi, cost £55 for 15 ltrs of adblue /new cap/vat/labour...

Go to Audi, get them to show him how to open the cap. If it won't [open], then ask them to resolve.

Not sure how anyone else here can help?
