Help - Handbreak switch not working!!!!!

Help - guys,

I have just parked up outside of work, pulled up the handbreak as normal and the button has not popped back out!!!! Now I can not release the Handbreak any Ideas?

It's the first bloody time it's actually holding the car too, sod's law!

Presume you've tried to ease it up just a little higher - try pressing hard on the foot brake when you do this to give yourself a chance.

How does pressing hard on the footbreak help? Or is it just for leaverage.

It helps because it takes some of the strain off the handbrake cable.

Try giving the handbrake handle a tap with something hard.
