10-11k, quick, can tow a small car on a trailer

Need a new car in the next few weeks and I've got somewhere around £10-11k to spend.

I need it to be able to tow a Clio on a trailer so it can't be anything too small.

Not fussed about running costs because I use a van during the week, it'll go to and from the gym, a few longer trips at weekends and then when it's towing MPG hardly matters anyway, everything is rubbish.

I really want an E55 AMG but it's not type approved for towing so that's no good, something of that ilk would be ideal though, I need a quick car after 18 months of driving an absolute shed.

Any suggestions?

Why don't you tow the Clio with the van, then the car doesn't need to do towing duties which will enable you to buy the AMG.

Should have been clearer, apologies...

The van is a work van, it can't be used out of hours (other than to get home and back)

You may not be able to get an E55 but the 5.5 E500 with 385bhp isn't a bad call:
