Upgrading to a Chimera?

Message for M@H - Well you've done it now! Sold the S and now looking for a Chimera? Is this really an upgrade?

But seriously, before you depart the "S" forum and re-appear elsewhere, will you keep us all informed of your search? I for one am considering going the same route early next year and would welcome news of your exploits.

Which engine are you looking for 4.0, 4.3, 4.5, 5.0 ???
I am totally confused by the choices out there, so which do you think you will pick and why?

HaHaa.. you knew I'd find a thread with that title didn't you....

Well I've not got a huge pile of cash so I'm looking for a 4.3.. it seems to have bags more performance than the 4.0 and the last thing I want to do is end up wishing I'd kept my S, so a bit more grunt should sort that out.

As for other things.. all recommendations and my own opinion say buy on condition rather than engine so I'm not bothering to look for a 4.5 or 5.0 as to get one in my price bracket will be compromising elsewhere..

...or you could try mine with its measured 239bhp after a Mark Adams rolling road session. Probably as good as any 4.3 out there.

The ad's held up because I need to photograph it -- and I need to give the beast a wash and polish before that happens. And the weather needs to be not cr*p before I can do that. But she will up on PH soon...
