A/C refrigerent charge weight
Discussion
Hi,
I'm looking at getting my A/C recharged, unfortunately I have no label in the engine bay giving charge weight.
I see the SH bible states 850g, Rover Disco II takes 900g and I have seen 1.2kg quoted for the Chimaera in that forum.
Is anyone out there that has had their A/C re-gassed that can confirm the actual charge weight.

Any help appreciated, thanks.

On the theory it's easier to put a bit more in than take a bit out I'd start with the 850 grams and see if you get any cooling?
900 for a Disco makes sense as pipes probably touch longer and coils could be larger (much bigger volume to cool) ?
......... and if all else fails shove half as much again in, the 1200 grams, but that sounds an awful lot to me
I think the "T" cars are 750-800 grams?
