My nearest OPC is about 100 miles away. My fault not theirs. The parts department is very helpful on the 'phone at finding part numbers for me from my garbled explanations of what the bits look like.
I don't expect them to hold parts in stock for my car, it's nearly 14 years old, so the parts have to be ordered from Porsche UK at Reading, I believe. As the OPC is always helpful I'm happy to use them and would rather not cut them out of the process.
But why , oh why do the parts have to physically be sent to them and then sent out again adding days to the time it takes to receive anything ?
I asked if the parts could be sent directly to me and was told no.
Am I asking for something unreasonable in this modern age of all being connected with computers etc , to order from my OPC, I pay them, they place the order and it gets sent to me from Porsche ?
Frustrating at the very least.
