I am considering a 991 GT3
My current GT3 997.1 has fully electric comfort seats, which suited my when i brought it 5 years ago. Just wondered how the comfort seats are in the 991. As there are some nice example cars for sale which have them. I know the club sports fetch more and are poular. But i dont want to miss a good one becouse of seat choice.
Thanks
Darren

I have the 18 way electric adjustment seats in my GT4 and really like them. I think the same seat is in the 'comfort' GT3. They are very adjustable, can be heated and are easy to get in and out of. They also offer great support as the side and thigh bolsters can be squeezed to 'hug' you. They go low enough and can obviously be relined for a more comfortable road position.
Buckets look great but best suited to regular track use only in my view.
Buy the car with the seats that suit you, not what you think other people want.

Darren, I have the 18 way adaptive in my 991GT3 and I am pleased with them. Supportive and comfy.
However, due to my low mileage use I will opt for the buckets next time.
I think on resale a CS and a bucket GT3 will sell at a higher price ( 10k more ? )
As been said, go with what you want, not what others say.

It is such a personal choice, many on here will tell you the buckets are the most comfortable seats they have sat in ,for me they were awful and the 18 ways are much better for me.
I would suggest if possible trying a bucket seat for a day...not a 20 minute drive but several hours, that will answer your query. As has been said don't listen to what people tell you is better.

Many complain of bum ache with the standard sports seats and you tend to sit on them as opposed to in them but as Throt says the 18 way adaptives could be a good call.....expensive option at £2k+? but do little to increase cars value over the standard seats.
The older style electrical height adjusting GT2 folding buckets in the 991 GT3 are great seats and possibly more comfortable depending on your build and favoured driving position although you don't sit as low as in the later Spyder buckets which are narrower at the shoulders, wider at the hips and the backrest is more vertical.
Heated seats were a good option to have.

Darren, if at all possible, try a car with the (utterly excellent) folding carbon buckets. You might be pleasantly surprised. I've driven 991 GT3 and also RS with these seats and found them to be, for me at least, some of the most comfortable and supportive seats I've ever experienced. Granted, they're not umpteen-way adjustable, but they are very comfortable, not as narrow (especially across the shoulders) as the fixed-back 997 GT3/Carrera GT carbon buckets and with leather trim still look pretty special.
