I get the impression the dealer isn't helping him like they should be.

Shame really cause that's my dealer too. They have been good with me to date but I sincerely hope I don't get half the problems this guy has

Lucozade, I'm hoping you might put my mind at rest. I'm considering a 3R at the moment and have a test drive this weekend. I already have an Elise maintained by this dealer and they have been OK so far... Surely this is not a common problem and (a) the cars are not generally as unreliable as this guy has experienced, and (b) the dealer is normally pretty good with Nobles?

I think if you do some in depth reading here you'll find we're all very open. This is one of only two of these such stories I've seen with Nobles (anyone remember that Scottish chap who never really said what was wrong, just bleeted on and on about nothing?).

I've had a few small issues, but they've all been sorted quickly and I've found the service I've had second to none (Roush in Brentwood, Vegantune and Kerridges).

I can't comment on the said dealer as I've had no dealings with them.

You've got to read the questions at the bottom, very funny,

Q: Does the car have SAT NAV? answered on: 13-Apr-05
A: It does not need it, it knows its way to Christopher Neil on its own.

Q: I'm thinking of buying this for my wife, can she use it to go shopping? answered on: 13-Apr-05
A: As long as she does not mind walking home.

Q: Can I have a discount if you remove and retain the immobiliser? After all, it doesn't sound like the car really needs one. answered on: 13-Apr-05
A: I would say yes, but it may be like a game of Jenga if you start removing parts!

Q: Why not consider a TVR instead? Christopher Neil sells those too so you won't have any trouble finding the dealer and they are second only to stonehenge...more answered on: 13-Apr-05
A: I could compare my Noble to stonehenge, in that is hasn't moved for a long time.

Q: So apart from a few minor niggles, the car is fine? As I wish to benefit from my AA Roadside assistance after years of paying and never needing them,...more answered on: 13-Apr-05
A: Yes, I believe this car would be perfect for you. I would also tend to join maybe RAC and Greenflag also.

To answer your points WildWilly.
My 3R is excellent and is only 8 months old with 8000 miles on the clock. Enjoy your test drive I'm sure you will.

The cars are not generally unreliable at all. Mines has never broke down and has only suffered minor issues that have been fixed by this dealer at servicing time.

In my experience the dealer has been good with my Noble and the service guys have always looked after me. Thanks Paul

I do believe that "viperbl" has a rare "lemon" car and fingers crossed there will be a resolution to the problems in the future.

If you want to email me offline through my profile to answer any other questions I will be happy to.

As I have said before my experience with Sales was not good. I had to do a lot of chasing to get anywhere - even though I was parting company with £54K they did not seem too bothered.

However, Servicing has been good to date.
