Mini cooper s convertible 04 reverse sensor and reverse ligh

Hi, newbie here. Just bought an 04 mini cooper s convertible. The reverse sensors and reverse lights not working.

Maybe a switch? Fuse?

Where do I locate the switch on this vehicle? Is it an easy day fix?

Help appreciated.

Would suspect the reverse light switch itself, usually on the gearbox casing, so look there first.

Nearside front wheel off, and you can (just) get in with a ring spanner but not a socket.

I read a guide saying to take the airbox out and go in from above, but took 5 mins the first way once the wheel was off.
