Jumpstarting a 1.8L Petrol car - what kit to use?
Discussion
I am looking to jumpstart a 1.8L petrol car which has a battery that's been flat for about 6-8 months (no trickle/maintenance charging etc). It's not been driven at all.
I'm now looking to jumpstart this to try and sell it as a runner rather than a non-runner.
What kit would I need to be able to jumpstart it?
Would a trickle charger of this sort do the trick?
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01C781H2W/ref...
Or would i have to get a 'proper' jump start kit?
Suggestions of suitable kit of either sort would be really appreciated.

A trickle charger probably wouldn't do it. I assume you have another car, I'd just use jumpleads from that to see if it'll start.
Yep, i have another car (1.4L Petrol, if it matters) - would that work? Also, is there a risk to the electricals of either car (particularly the 'donor' car) with this?
If the car is parked on an incline then get a few mates to bump-start it in 2nd gear, though don't do what happened a few years ago when we 'assisted' a young lady who had a car with a flat battery in a car-park. We offered to push her car to get it started, so we pushed it along the car-park for a good few yards until she put the brakes on and asked us what to do!!!
