997 gen2 terrar clean?

What is the current thoughts on terrar clean on the gen 2 engines. I understand they can suffer with carbon build up My 2009 3.8s has done 42000 miles and thought this may be a good thing to do

I wouldn’t bother as I’ve seen no evidence they suffer any ill effects.
