Hi everyone. I've just had the brake pad warning light come up on my dashboard. Looking at the pads the rears look most worn although the outer pad does appear to have about 4-5mm remaining.
Can anyone tell by looking at this image if I need the Horse-shoe or Pin-type brake pads for my 2006 Cayman S? Sorry for the poor quality but it was the best I could get without removing the wheel. Thanks.

Thanks mate. I posted the same question on Facebook and just received a reply telling me that I need the horse-shoe type. Now I'm more confused than ever! lol

Thanks cmoose. I've now ordered 2 x Pagid discs. Set of Pagid pads (pin type) . 2 x wear indicators (pin type). 4 x 28mm dampers. 4 x 30mm dampers. 4 x caliper bolts. I just hope it's easier to fit than it was to decide what to order!

What this guy says - I reused my bolts and dampers (with a TINY bit of copper grease on the back of each damper) and be really, really careful when removing the retaining pin. Make sure you use the correct pin punch. The back is usually OK, but the fronts can be a right beatch because of all the extra dust and heat generated at the front...
