Good Morning

Apologies if this isn't in the correct section, but I am looking for some ideas for a day out either Monday the 30th of October or Tuesday the 31st.

My friend has just had an operation on his leg, and although he can walk perfectly fine - driving experiences etc would be out of the question.

We both live in Northamptonshire and travel up to around 2.5 hours would be okay.

Has anyone got any suggestions of what to do? we are both quite big car fans, but are really struggling for good ideas. We have both been to the British Motor Museum recently so this it out of the question.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The Haynes motor museum might be a bit too far, but it's worth a look.

Morgan factory tour. You can even hire one to have a go in for not very much money.

Best type of motoring thing we've done.

Came here to say this. MB World is probably not a full day in itself, but combined with Brooklands it's a pretty great day out.

Booked mrs p on a passenger session in an AMG SlS - she loved it.
Good day out.

Visit Watford Gap services, it's a bit of a museum piece now.

Thanks for all the replies, looks like we will take a trip to brooklands and benz world. The Morgan Factory tour looks very interesting so may see if we can sneak that in.

But at least it's 'now fully open'.
