What is the best Fix or Mod or Change you've made to your Cerb?

I haven't worked out the answer for my Cerb yet, but to give you an idea of what I mean, I changed the Brake Bias Valve in my other car which totally transformed it, and cost virtually nothing, probably less than £25.

That's an easy one. The trip to Jools for a decat and remap. I went up there with a farty sounding fast-ish cerb with wonky sports tails, and picked up a fire-breathing, awesome sounding (full SP exhaust with linked decat), hilariously rapid supercar that I've been in awe of ever since.

I was going to give a +1 for Jools but getting the suspension properly set up at Neil Garners was more of a change. On the way there the car kept trying to kill me with but on the way back it was utterly sublime.

Since others have already mentioned Joolz, I'm going to go for the RaceProved Clutch Slave

Fitted five years ago and has worked perfectly since with no maintenance other than flushing the fluid regularly

Contrast that with the original slave with seals that kept failing, and being of variable quality such that the gearchange was quite unpleasant, and there was always the fear that they would start leaking again

Expensive but well worth it

Flowing throttle bodies, new heat barrier/o-rings, cleaned injectors and a proper setup.. What a difference. You could hear the engine was happier too!

Option 2 would be the £1 relay and 30 mins spent wiring, to fix the starting issue.

Replacing the Silver Key with a latching push button

Takes a bit of eBay surfing to find a button to fit, and 15 minutes to install, but you can then visually and mentally tell when the car should start or not - would recommend doing it in a flash!

It's worth finding something better for it to do

Mine controls power to a USB lead I use for my Garmin

Hum, where to start. Probably this as jools remapped my car for the torque curve to come in earlier, totally transforming the way the car drives, its easy to drive around at 2k revs, but still flies as you go over 3k. Combined with the ACT manifolds and exhaust system

Honourable mention
CL Brake pads - transformed the stopping.
Swapping out the worn shocks for Nitrons when I got the car. To be fair the previous owner told me he'd swapped them with his new cerbera.
Adding a small subwoofer in the helmet holder to add some bass.
Decatting to take away the heat from the cabin and gearbox/clutch
Finding Neil Garner to do all the work on my car right from the start

Trouble is I've done (or paid to be done) so much on my car it's nearly triggers broom.

All I had to do was swap with the brake bias valve used in earlier models, for some reason that spec was changed for later cars. The car immediately felt more planted under braking, and more controlled. The easy way to tell that it was not my imagination was that on track the rear wheels (and tyres) now became as hot as the fronts, and the rear pads lasted half as long.

Yeah cool. proof exact.

Interestingly my standard rear brakes on the Chim seem to do more work than they used to, maybe it’s that I probably brake harder As I’m more confident in the set up.

Great thread smile
