I have had cold air through my vents for some time now. I've read all the info on here and after investigation I found the yellow motor to have a broken arm. I have bought a new one but my problem is that the arms for hot/cold on both sides are only moving at the extremes of the temperature reading and the yellow one is passing where the limit is and continuing to push on one pulse at a time. My question to anyone with knowledge is this, Do I need a new climate control switch panel, i.e. could it be that the switches are faulty. If anyone has any info I would be eternally grateful as I am going loopy here.

You need to run basic settings with VCDS on the HVAC module to force the various motors to re-learn their positions - any that are faulty will then be flagged so you know if any are knackered smile
