Hi

I’m involved in a new business selling seafood and I’m looking for software to do CRM, invoicing etc. I also send prices each morning by text and email and it would be useful to automate this. Part of the problem is the delivery rate is different for each customer.

In a past business I used jobber and found it great but it’s not really suitable for this.

Any recommendations?

It sounds as though your requirements were different to mine, however these are worth looking at to see if they could work. I have always been a fan of SalesForce, but on changing to a much smaller company at the start of the year, I was looking for a free CRM. I looked at many, shortlisted Zoho & Hubspot, and ended up picking Hubspot. For us it has been great.

Take a look at Xero, I'm not sure about the texting etc, but I'm sure you can assign different delivery rates to different customers, even different discount rates.

It has an element of CRM, managing contacts, reporting on buying trends, creating smart contact groups ie all these contacts fall into this category, therefore we should target them with x/y/z.
