Hi guy's,Just wondered if everyone else with the T350/Sagaris/Tamora dash gets this.
On startup when you turn the key to ignition on etc;
Just for a second or two the display reads,
TAMORA V6 .1
I would'nt mind but my car is neither a Tamora or a V6 let alone a point 1 ( T350 )by the way.
Oh and does anybody else get the starter motor not release straight away causing a klak/klak as it does'nt return quick enough?
My dealer says "they all do that Sir".

Thanks
Pete.

V6
Tamora
Starter click

Yup. They all do that.

You can get into the services menu and change stuff u know, fiddle with your knobs!!!

The car obviously needed 6.1 sofware upgrades.

That'll be the quality 5th Gear were on about!!!

The starter thing happens on mine, but not now I'm used to it...

No starter problems here so they don't all do that. Sounds like its a bit lazy disengaging?

High Scruffy.

Thanks for the reply, not sure if you are serious or not? I know about changing stuff within the menu but can you actually change the Tamora bit? and are you serious about the V6 being some kind of fault?
Can you explain how too?
Cheers
Pete.

Isn't V6.1 just informing you of the software version? Nothing to do with it requiring an upgrade.

I doubt you'll be able to get rid of the Tamora reference unless TVR roll out a new version of the software for T350s. They didn't see fit to do that when T350s went in to production so I doubt they'll do it now.

Edited to say I don't get the starter 'klak' on mine

My T350 gives Tamora message on start up and shut down. Think it is just because they used the same software and never bothered to update the name (but i guess they could argue a T350 is just a Tamora 350).

I haven't had starter issues...

Yes, it's the software version, mines V. 5.8, thought I may get 6.1 when my ECU was sent back to Blackpool, but no

I use to get a problem where the LCD screen wouldn't start up at all first thing in the morning. If i turned it off and back on again it cleared it. Was sorted by factory on first service. They changed the board in the ECU. Apparently the crystals in the LCD display need a kick from the electrics in the morning???? Same problem as its owner?
Display is ok now though.

Hilti.

LOL, well, seems to be a lot better than before, sometimes, just occasionally, the screen wouldn't appear when switching on, meaning you have to turn the key again to get it to start (the screen), but it seems OK now.
Does the T350 have the optional Sports Pack option in the menu?
