FF7 remake

Anyone looking forward to this when square decides to release a date? Appart from the battle style looking familiar to ff15 do you think they will keep the original storyline from 1997?

We were all looking forward to this in 2015...but nothing has happened.

Three different chapters each the same size as the original game (20hrs - 100+hrs depending on speed) and a much deeper story one would assume...back story to Avalanche? Who knows but the fact it has gone super cold over the last two E3's doesn't fill me with confidence.
