I think it looks rather good...it’s the same coloured steering wheel which is the off putting thing...change it to black and it will look great...

I quite like it, but as Andrew says above, the steering wheel needs to be black. I'd go one further by saying make a few other bits black, maybe the bottom half of the door cards. It needs something to break up the sea of tan a little.

You can change the colour of plastic and leather too, instead of sourcing replacements.

Just pop on a tasteful steering wheel cover, job done.

(I actually quite like a brown interior & it looks really clean for a pre facelift 996, buy on condition & all that!)

Not a colour I would choose. But these things are very personal. If you are happy with it and the rest of the car is of the spec/condition you want then go for it !! It might be difficult to move on than a more popular colour but worry about that when the time comes. You can have a number of years enjoyment - and life is short !!

Life is indeed too short. Too short to spend it sat inside a turd brown interior.

Spend a grand more on one that isnt grim and has a chance of resale. Not like these are in very short supply.

Would be OK(ish) with a dark colour, but it doesn't go with silver - IMO.

I could live with it, though would prefer it if the browness was broken up a bit.

Not bad, although a darker shade (Seal Grey) of grey would suit it better.
Also it would look better in a coupe.
And it would be even better if only the seats and lower areas would be tan and the dash, steering wheel and upper part would be black.

(not 100% sure on the last bit...)
