Job interview at Asda
Discussion
I received an unwelcome call today from them to tell me my interview did not go well and I will not be doing the second one..
It's a bit rich as my interview is at 09.30 on the 30th of October
As Patsy was putting the phone down before ringing me back there was shouting in her office, after ringing me back apologies were given and she looks forward to seeing me on Monday

It's a tough company to get into it seems.
A business associate of mine has been living on and off in Indonesia these past 20 years and recently returned to the UK with his Indonesian wife of 15 years for 'semi' retirement.
His wife is a supremely intelligent lady. A PhD, industrial chemist working in civil engineering. More letters after her name than in it - multi-linguist...etc. She had no interest is doing that in the UK - she's late 50s and wanted do something that she didn't have to think too much about so applied for a job in Asda in East Sussex to earn a bit of beer money (they don't need the money but I think she just wanted something to do).
They asked her to do some psychometric test - which she failed.
And this was just a normal floor job - not management or anything like that.
And yeah...I know...'cool story bro'....but he started it :-)

By failed, you mean failed to match the criteria they required for stacking shelves? I think they should have just looked at her CV, then.Shakermaker said:

I don't know about Asda, but certainly Tesco have declined to offer work to people with PhDs and major qualifications such as that, based on the fact that they are more likely to be the type of people who leave a business as soon as a better offer comes along, after Tesco have spent their time training them etc etc.
So you simply edit your CV accordingly cut out the higher quals and focus on other things. Stuff Asda, OP!
Just toddle along to your local garden centre and ask them for a job.
I'm sure they will be more than pleased to have a Wayne Dear welcoming kiddies and their families at the entrance to Santa's Grotto this Octobermas!
Yes, the decorations have all been in place for ages at the garden centre near me.

It's just a grocery delivery driver job, not that many hours a week and it fits in with my wife's job and allows me time to mess with my cars
Ex Asda home shopping delivery driver of nearly 5 years here, any questions, I'll do my best to answer. If it'll help.(to add - shouldn't be that difficult to get through, I managed it, and that's saying something).
Good luck.

any home alone milf tales for us?(to add - shouldn't be that difficult to get through, I managed it, and that's saying something).

There was one woman who I thought was probably up for it but I was a bit shy and thought probably better to wait for her to make the first move. She didn't.
Saw just the one female nipple, heard of a male driver who had a man take his towel off in front of the driver, I don't think he was particularly impressed (even though he's gay, the driver).
Got a few females out the shower, but nothing good came of that.

Maybe you didn’t give it enough time, save for the perv with the towel, (eeew!), it sounds as if it was slowly going in the right direction, you should have stuck it out, no pun intended. There was one woman who I thought was probably up for it but I was a bit shy and thought probably better to wait for her to make the first move.
