Thought this would be of interest as can't see too much on here on these!

I've no garage and wanted something to cover my car. Did think about leaving its outside but there's really sappy trees straight above my parking and noticed when I go away on work trips, twigs, small branches and bird parcels like to aim at it, along with green algae stuff.

I liked the idea of Carcoons but no good for weekly use. I don't like the idea of anything touching the paint. Found this thing! The inner bit is ventilated by 3 12v fans. When it's zipped up the inner inflates like a balloon biggrin. Then you zip up the outer. Takes I reckon 3 mins to get car ready to drive out and maybe a little more to put to bed as I struggle with my gates being so close.

Only had it a few days, so far it's been damp outside and raining but car is dry whenever I've gone in. Thinking of getting a little dehumidifier too as some people do with carcoons.

Now don't laugh biggrin biggrin

Thanks redback. Sorry your posts got buried in all my wonky photos biggrin. I've already thought I could stick visitors in it. It stays quite warm with the car driven in. I've gone out 4 hours later and it's still warm. They'd have to sleep down the side though and no cooking allowed ha

That looks pretty good. I take it that it only opens at one end. I could do with a drive through version. I would also go with a dehumidifier. Meaco DD8L I would go for.

Thanks Hellcat for the info on the dehumidifier. Yeah it's only able to be opened one end.

Yeah that's it! It's damper than a penguins pocket this eve and raining constantly all night so test will be in the morning! It's been dry whenever I've gone in there before so think it'll be golden.

As it is force fed by "outside air" I would not use a dehumidifier, it is the ventilation that is drying it. No need to dehumidify the local atmosphere.
