Getting beaten over the head on a daily basis about how great EVs are can get a little tiresome.

Woah, back up a minute. Phrasing it as a question doesn't validate the claim.

Start with your hypothesis. "PH been overrun by lobbyists for the EV industry."

Really? Has it?

Very good indeed - I'm most amused by your post once again.

I remember a little game I used to play as a child - Whack A Mole - if you don't know - the mole poked its head through a hole, you whacked it with a mallet. The mole was provocative - the aim of it popping up was for you to hit it. You sir are the mole, common sense and the decent man the mallet - work it out ...

Cretin. This is the kind of thing I was talking about.

My point stands, I'm not sure how we got to the point where EVs are vastly more popular on PistonHeads (clue is in the name) than they actually are in real life. A less than half of one percent take up rate in the real world.

Why are you EV guys always so angry about everything? Trying to crush the dissenters?

So, what gives?

Your point is not enhanced by calling people cretin (thyroid deficiency).

People like to be seen as trendy, fashionable and sophisticated. First, diesel. Now, electric. There will be another bandwagon along to jump on in a few years.

Should PH ban RX-8 owners too?

Diesel was trendy, fashionable and sophisticated?

Diesel? The stuff that tractors run on?

I missed that.

Given that you fairly obviously signed up to troll the EV threads, and the vast majority of your posts (and both threads you started) are on EVs, it's a bit rich to moan about being argued with.

There are other threads, why not go contribute there?

So, these EV threads, are they started by "pro" or "anti" EV people?
