I rarely use my Omega Seamaster, last time I wore it was in June. It was last serviced about 5-6 years ago.

I thought I would wear it yesterday, so wound it up, set the date and time and put it on.

A bit later I noticed that it had stopped.

No matter how I wind it, it doesn't start again.

What can cause that?

That can be caused by a shed armpit hair wound tightly around the balance.
Or about a million other things.
Suggest you send away for a service, without taking the back off it's impossible to tell what [i]is[/] causing this.

As it is waterproof to 300m I cannot see a shed armpit hair getting into the case, but thank you for the suggestion.
